Join us for a day designed just for the women of the Copper Country! We'll be pampering our minds, bodies and spirits through several educational, fitness and spa activities in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The day will include:
Free Screenings - Full cholesterol panel (cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides), blood glucose, blood pressure and bone density.
Educational Presentations - Great presentations on a variety of topics by expert speakers.
"Women's Health relating to Physical Therapy" - Stephanie Peterson, DPT and Katie Temple DPT
"Advanced Foot Care" - Jonathan Brueggeman, DPM
"Controversial Food Issues" - Lexie Weber, RD
"Surviving Your Changing Body" - Christiann Rosemurgy, RN
Several Breakout Session will also be included on a topics ranging from skin cancer, nutrition and supplements, urinary incontinence/frequency, gynecology across the ages and physical therapy relating to cancer. Speakers include Dr. Stacey Carpenter, Lexie Weber (RD), Stephanie Peterson (DPT), Katie Temple (DPT), Dr. Rebecca Baudoin and Darlene Blough (PT).
Fitness Activities - Learn about Zumba, Yoga, Rowing/Skierg, Goal Setting, Stress Reduction
Vendors - Over 25 area services and shops will be set up for you to browse and sample, some at additional cost during break times. Examples include Arbonne, Salon Benefique, Tastefully Simple, Thrity One Gifts and much more.
Massage - Free massages will be available.
Food - Healthy breakfast and lunch will be included.
Giveway/Raffle - Each participant will receive a free gift for attending Day for Women. A raffle will conclude the event, with all participants able to win great prizes.
